Calvary Baptist Church is an independent, fundamental Baptist church composed of believers dedicated to the preaching of the Word of God. We have modeled our church on the principles set forth by Christ and His apostles in the New Testament, and we believe the local body of believers is the community through which those who have been redeemed through the sacrificial atonement of Christ on the Cross may worship together and admonish one another to live a life that brings glory to our Savior while we await His return.

And vital to that purpose, as well, is the Lord’s command to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost of the world, that those whom God has called will come to a saving knowledge of Him. As the Apostle Peter wrote, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” And so we support the efforts of missionaries and evangelists around the world who are faithfully engaged in soul-winning and related ministry work.

As a regular part of our worship, we sing the time-honored, traditional songs of our faith and hear the Word of God preached from the King James version of the Bible.
